Halora - Salt Therapy
Welcome to Halora - A sanctuary of calm, clarity, and clean breathing. Founded on the belief that true wellness begins with something as simple and essential as the air we breathe, Halora offers a modern approach to ancient healing through salt therapy.
At Halora, we’ve created a peaceful, restorative space where you can unplug, slow down, and let the natural power of salt work its magic. Our Himalayan salt cave is designed to support respiratory health, skin vitality, and overall relaxation. Whether you're seeking relief from allergies, stress, or just craving a moment of stillness, our sessions are meant to leave you feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.
We're not just about therapy - we're about ritual. We invite you to breathe with intention, to reconnect, and to experience what it means to be truly salted - inside and out.
The Benefits
Salt therapy is a wellness service which may help ease and soothe your symptoms. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. If you have a health concern or medical condition, please consult your doctor before participating.

Asthma and Bronchitis

Salt Therapy may help by thinning mucus, reducing airway inflammation, and providing mild antibacterial effects through the inhalation of microscopic salt particles. This can make breathing easier, help clear congestion, and reduce irritation in the respiratory tract
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

Salt Therapy may help by loosening mucus, reducing airway inflammation, and making it easier to breathe. The fine salt particles can help clear the airways and may reduce coughing and wheezing.
Relaxation

Salt Therapy can promote relaxation by creating a calm, quiet environment with low lighting and purified air. The negative ions released by salt particles may also enhance mood, reduce stress, and support better sleep - similar to the calming effect of ocean air. Many people find the experience soothing, making it a gentle way to unwind and de-stress.
Immune System Support

Salt Therapy may support the immune system by helping to clear mucus, reduce respiratory inflammation, and keep the airways clean - making it harder for infections to take hold. Its mild antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects can also reduce the burden on the immune system, allowing it to function more effectively. Additionally, the relaxing environment may lower stress, which can further support immune health.
Cystic Fibrosis (CF)

Salt Therapy may help people with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) by thinning thick mucus in the lungs, making it easier to clear out and reducing the risk of infections. Inhaling fine salt particles can draw moisture into the airways, which helps loosen mucus and improve breathing.
Acne

Salt Therapy can help with acne by reducing inflammation, killing bacteria, and gently exfoliating the skin. The microscopic salt particles in the air have natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help clear up acne causing bacteria and calm irritated skin. Salt also helps balance oil production and draw out impurities, promoting a clearer, healthier complexion over time.
Muscle Recovery

Salt Therapy can aid muscle recovery by reducing inflammation, improving circulation, and promoting relaxation. When you inhale salt particles or soak in a salt bath, the minerals, like magnesium, can help relax tight muscles and reduce soreness. The anti-inflammatory properties of salt can also help reduce swelling and inflammation caused by muscle strain or overuse, speeding up recovery. Additionally, salt therapy can enhance oxygen flow to muscles, support detoxification, and help the body relax, all of which contribute to faster recovery after intense physical activity.
Improved Sleep

Salt Therapy can improve sleep by helping the body and mind relax. Breathing in salt-infused air clears the airways, making it easier to breathe deeply and restfully—especially helpful for those with snoring, sinus issues, or mild sleep apnea. The calming environment and release of negative ions reduce stress and anxiety, lower cortisol levels, and promote relaxation, all of which support a deeper, more restorative sleep. Regular sessions may help reset your natural sleep wake cycle for better long term sleep quality.
Allergies

Salt Therapy helps relieve allergy symptoms by clearing allergens and reducing inflammation in the airways. When inhaled, the fine salt particles act as a natural anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent. They help break up mucus, clear nasal passages, reduce swelling in the sinuses and respiratory tract, eliminate airborne allergens like pollen, dust, and mold spores, and soothe irritated skin in cases of allergic eczema or rashes. This makes breathing easier and can reduce the frequency and severity of allergic reactions—without the side effects of medication. Regular sessions may also strengthen the respiratory system over time.
Eczema (Atopic Dermatitis)

Salt Therapy can help manage eczema by reducing inflammation, itchiness, and bacteria on the skin. The salt's natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties support healing by calming irritated skin, improving hydration, and gently exfoliating dead skin cells. It can also help reduce the risk of infection from scratching. Regular sessions may lead to fewer flare-ups and smoother, more balanced skin. While not a cure, it’s a gentle, natural complement to traditional eczema treatments.
Psoriasis

Salt Therapy may help relieve symptoms of psoriasis by softening plaques, reducing inflammation, and calming itchiness. The salt particles have natural antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and exfoliating properties that can improve skin texture and reduce redness. It also helps balance skin hydration and remove dead skin cells, which can ease discomfort. While not a cure, regular salt therapy sessions can support overall skin health and complement medical treatments for managing psoriasis.
Ear & Sinus Infections

Salt Therapy can support the healing of ear & sinius infections by reducing inflammation and improving drainage in the ear, nose, and throat area. Breathing in salt particles helps to open nasal passages and reduce mucus buildup, which can relieve pressure around the Eustachian tubes. Its natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties may also help prevent secondary infections. While it’s not a direct cure, salt therapy can be a gentle, supportive treatment—especially for chronic or allergy related ear issues. Always consult a healthcare provider for acute or severe infections.

Coughs & Colds

Salt Therapy can help relieve coughs and colds by thinning mucus, reducing inflammation in the airways, and clearing congestion. The tiny salt particles in the air have natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which can soothe irritated respiratory passages and make breathing easier. It’s a gentle, drug-free way to support recovery and comfort during cold and flu season.
Rosacea

Salt Therapy may provide mild relief for rosacea symptoms by reducing inflammation, balancing skin pH, and offering antibacterial benefits. Breathing in or applying salt can help calm irritated skin and improve the skin’s barrier function. Some people find it helps with redness and sensitivity. However, it's not a cure and scientific evidence is limited. Salt therapy is best used as a complementary treatment, alongside prescribed rosacea medications or skincare recommended by a dermatologist.
Skin Ageing

Salt Therapy can help with signs of skin aging by improving hydration, strengthening the skin barrier, and gently exfoliating to promote smoother, more radiant skin. It may also boost circulation and reduce inflammation, both of which support healthy skin aging. While it offers mild benefits, salt therapy should be used as a complementary treatment, not a replacement for proven anti-aging ingredients like retinoids, antioxidants, or sunscreen.
Dermatitis

Salt Therapy may help relieve dermatitis by reducing skin inflammation, minimising bacterial growth, and calming itchiness. It can also support the repair of the skin barrier by improving hydration and delivering minerals like magnesium and calcium, which are beneficial for skin health. Many people find that salt baths or exposure to salt-rich environments help soothe flare-ups and reduce discomfort. However, salt therapy is not a cure and may cause irritation if the skin is broken or very sensitive. It’s best used as a gentle, complementary treatment alongside prescribed skincare or medication.
