Terms, Conditions & Booking Policy

At Studio 89, we aim to provide exceptional services while maintaining fairness and respect for both our clients and artists. Please note that all artists have individual policies so please contact direct before booking.

 

Booking Fees, Rescheduling & Cancellations

A non refundable booking fee is required to secure all appointments and will be deducted from the total cost of your service on the day. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment; cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice, late arrivals that prevent the service from being carried out, or failure to attend will result in the loss of the deposit. Booking fees are non refundable but may be transferred to a new appointment with at least 48 hours notice, subject to the artist’s discretion. Repeated no shows or last minute cancellations may result in restrictions on future bookings.

 

Arrivals & Timing

Please arrive on time for your appointment and check in with the receptionist or management team. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or cancellation of your appointment, depending on the artists schedule. We ask that you show respect for the artists time. Our artists reserve their time specifically for you. Respecting these policies ensures that their schedules and other clients are not impacted.

 

Changes to Services:

If you need to alter your booked service, please notify your artist or Studio 89 staff in advance.

Gift Voucher Policy: Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be extended beyond the expiry date. Extensions will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and must be approved by the Studio Owner. Vouchers are non refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are redeemable against treatments only. The voucher value will be deducted from the total cost of your appointment, with any remaining balance payable on the day. To redeem a gift voucher, please contact the salon directly to book your appointment and quote your voucher at the time of booking. Studio 89 reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.

Community Etiquette: At Studio 89, we are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for both our clients and team. We will not tolerate any abusive, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour towards staff or other clients. If you have any concerns or are dissatisfied with your service, we encourage you to speak with us directly, and we will always try our best to resolve the issue in a calm and professional manner. We kindly ask that all communication remains respectful at all times.

At Studio 89, the safety and security of our clients, professionals, and property are our top priorities. To ensure a secure and welcoming environment, CCTV cameras are in operation throughout our premises.

Privacy: Cameras are strategically positioned to respect the privacy of our clients and professionals while maintaining adequate security. No cameras are installed in private areas, such as restrooms or treatment rooms, to safeguard confidentiality.

Compliance: Our CCTV usage complies with applicable privacy laws and regulations. Recorded footage is securely stored and accessed only by authorised personnel if necessary.

Your Agreement: By entering Studio 89, you acknowledge and consent to being monitored by CCTV as part of our commitment to safety.

Studio 89 and its team will not be held responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, or claims that may occur within the salon premises or as a result of services received. Clients are advised to book patch tests, disclose any known allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to receiving treatments to ensure a safe experience. While we adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols, unforeseen reactions to products or services may occur and are not the responsibility of Studio 89. Personal belongings and valuables are the client’s responsibility, and Studio 89 accepts no liability for loss or damage to items while on the premises. Any complaints, questions, or concerns regarding services must be addressed directly with the artist or technician who provided the service.
